Stevie Ray Vaughan - In The Beginning

In the Beginning is an electric blues album performed live by Stevie (Ray) Vaughan and Double Trouble (the stage name at that time did not include Vaughan's middle name). While the album was released about two years after Vaughan's death in 1990, the actual performance took place on April 1, 1980 at Steamboat 1874 in Austin, Texas, and was broadcast live on KLBJ-FM radio. A 25-year-old Vaughan, still more than three years away from the release of his first studio album, performs with his "Double Trouble" bandmates: Chris Layton, drummer, and Jackie Newhouse, bassist. (Newhouse was replaced by bassist Tommy Shannon in January 1981, who would remain part of Double Trouble until Stevie's death) See here for detail.

Stevie Ray Vaughan - Texas Flood - 1983

Texas Flood is the debut album of American blues musician Stevie Ray Vaughan and his band Double Trouble, released June 13, 1983 on Epic Records. The album was recorded in only three days, at Jackson Browne's personal recording studio, in 1982 since the band had been playing many live sets beforehand.

More popular than any blues album in nearly twenty years, Texas Flood was a surprise success for Vaughan, who had labored in obscurity for years. On the North American Billboard Music Charts, Texas Flood peaked at #64 and #38 on the Billboard 200 and Pop Albums charts, respectively. The single "Pride and Joy" peaked at #20 on the Mainstream Rock chart. The album was Grammy nominated in 1983 for "Best Blues Recording" along with "Rude Mood", which was nominated for "Best Blues Instrumental Performance".

8-track tape versions of the album are very rare and thus considered quite valuable due to the fact that the format was being phased out during the time period in which the album was released. Therefore, relatively few 8-track tape versions of "Texas Flood" were manufactured. The album was released in its entirety as downloadable content for the music video game series Rock Band on March 3rd, 2009.

Track Listing:

1. Lovestruck Baby
2. Pride And Joy
3. Texas Flood
4. Tell Me
5. Testify
6. Rude Mood
7. Mary Had A Little Lamb
8. Dirty Pool
9. I'm Cryin'
10. Lenny
11. SRV Speaks
12. Tin Pan Alley (aka Roughest Place In Town)
13. Testify (Live)
14. Mary Had a Little Lamb (Live)

Stevie Ray Vaughan - In Step - 1989

In Step is a blues-rock album by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble released in 1989. The title In Step can be seen as referring to Vaughan's new-found sobriety, following the years of drug and alcohol use that eventually led Vaughan into rehabilitation. It was also Vaughan's final album with Double Trouble. In 1990, he recorded a collaboration album with his brother, Jimmie Vaughan, called Family Style; later that year, Stevie Ray Vaughan died in a helicopter crash. See here for detail
source www.wikipedia.com

Track listing:
  1. "The House Is Rockin'" (Doyle Bramhall, Vaughan) – 2:24
  2. "Crossfire (Bill Carter, Ruth Ellsworth, Chris Layton, Tommy Shannon, Reese Wynans)" – 4:10
  3. "Tightrope" (Bramhall, Vaughan) – 4:40
  4. "Let Me Love You Baby" (Willie Dixon) – 2:43
  5. "Leave My Girl Alone" (Buddy Guy) – 4:15
  6. "Travis Walk" – 2:19
  7. "Wall of Denial" (Bramhall, Vaughan) – 5:36
  8. "Scratch-N-Sniff" (Bramhall, Vaughan) – 2:43
  9. "Love Me Darlin'" (Chester Burnett) – 3:21
  10. "Riviera Paradise" – 9:00

The 1999 reissue adds the following tracks:

  1. "Stevie Ray Vaughan Speaks" – 1:33
  2. "The House is Rockin'" (Live) (Bramhall, Vaughan) – 2:48
  3. "Let Me Love You Baby" (Live) (Dixon) – 3:46
  4. "Texas Flood" (Live) (Larry C. Davis, Joseph W. Scott) – 7:28
  5. "Life Without You" (Live) – 13:17
"Life Without You" is essentially a long jam, with two extended guitar parts separated by break in which (with bassist Tommy Shannon and drummer Chris Layton still playing) Vaughan completes a short monologue on his troubles with substances abuse and his newly-found sobriety. He asks those in the audience to take care of themselves so they can "be there for the ones who love you and need

Stevie Ray Vaughan - Soul Love - 1987

A record of the great master of the electric blues, Stevie Ray, is neither an official record, or posthumous, or compilation, not a great success, is a disc of rarities such an out of print so to speak, did not see it anywhere, try to buy over the internet to see coming out and no results are found, only that I have and as usual I go up to you. And since it is not for sale on Internet descarguenlo blameless.

This is an album recorded live at a concert to Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble were at the Mann Music Center (center summer tourist attraction since 1930, where he performed several shows throughout the year, not only music but dances and dramas, figures of the likes of Santana, BB King, Ray Charles, James Tylor, Jethro Tull, George Benson were among the many figures who passed through this stage) in Philadelphia in 1987.

I think that was released for sale in 1988 because the same disc contains 3 bonus tracks (Instrumental Jam, Pride & Joy, Scuttle Buttin) for the MTV Unplugged Stevie toast in that year.

Another spectacular and amazing album of stevie ray vaughan. Do not think there loose records of stevie, you may have with more records and songs with less longer or shorter, but the quality of each agenda item no particular has no limits ... This has several issues three songs and includes instrumental without words ... not going to stevie ray another birth for many years ...

Stevie Ray Vaughan - Blues At Sunrise - 2000

The concept behind Blues at Sunrise is a good one: collect ten of SRV's best slow blues numbers, primarily from the official studio albums but also a couple of unreleased cuts and rarities, and sequence them as if they were a lost studio album. It's a neat idea, especially when it's packaged in artwork that deliberately evokes memories of classic blues albums from the '60s (there's even a fake, faded record ring on the front and back covers), and it's hard to fault the music here. All the obvious selections are here -- "Ain't Gone 'N' Give Up on Love," "The Things (That) I Used to Do," Leave My Girl Alone." And the rarities are all worthwhile, including a live "Texas Flood" from the Live at the El Macambo video, a live duet with Johnny Copeland on "Tin Pan Alley" from 1985, an unreleased take of "The Sky Is Crying" from Couldn't Stand the Weather, and a duet with Albert King on "Blues at Sunrise" (also available on the Fantasy disc In Session). Still, some fans may complain, since this is the first posthumous release that feels as if it's trying to trick the hardcore into purchasing music they already have. That's a legitimate complaint, because there are only two songs that the hardcore won't have, and they very well may not want to sink down dollars for something that's just a reconfiguration of familiar tunes. But, as reconfigurations and repackagings go, Blues at Sunrise is strong and entertaining, working quite well as a mood piece. It may not be revelatory, but if you strip away your qualms and quibbles, it's enjoyable. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide. See the detail here

Jimi Hendrix - Axis_Bold As Love 1967

Axis: Bold as Love is the second studio album by The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Under pressure from their record company to follow-up the successful debut of their May 1967 album Are You Experienced, Axis: Bold as Love was released on Track Records in the UK in December 1967. It reached #5 in the UK and later, #3 in the US.

The album was recorded to fulfill the band's contract, which stated that they must produce two albums in 1967. Even so, it was not released in the USA until 1968 due to fears that it might have disturbed the sales of the first album. Bassist Noel Redding has noted that this was his favourite of three Experience albums. He plays eight string bass on some tracks.

Just before the album's completion, Hendrix left the master tapes of side 1 in a taxi. They were never found again, and thus the A-side had to be mixed again quickly.

In 2003, the album was ranked number 82 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. See the details here.

Jimi Hendrix - Live At Winterland - 1968

This CD contains the excellent material that was out of print album Alan Douglas, which made a selection of the best songs that I play Jimi along its fabulous concert at the Winterland in San Francisco. The concerts at the Winterland in San Francisco were incurred as a celebration of two years of "The Jimi Hendrix Experience", which was agreed to put three full days in the Winerland, 10, 11 and 12 October 1968. After the concerts, the group would meet in the TTG Studios to begin work on his next album (just the end of "Electric Ladyland" Content is really excellent, with a savage and destructive that Jimi used in a lot of feedback sometimes accompanying himself on guitar, and is perfectly imbued with Redding and Mitchell. More material gave concerts at the Winterland Jimi can be found in the excellent "Concerts".
